\"TASH-JBREE\"<\/a>The love for performing arts ventured into a wonderful singing career for Jodian Peta-Gaye Thompson which she had never thought would be possible. Jody, or fast rising star JBree as of 2013, completes a very unique duo that has been in the making since the ninth grade. The Eastern Jamaica native poised a relaxed personality that blends with a strong sounding voice while complimenting the original swag she possessed. Her counter-part is built with a more sociable personality that fits an international music market and has the ability to rap and sing at an advance level. Age 12 was the age that revealed the feeling to her that one day she would become a musical icon. Sharon Angella DaSilva, and Glenroy earl DaSilva Snr. are very proud that their last child of four has a god given talent even with a non-musical ear. Tashari Anique DaSilva, Tash to her common folks, and now to the musical world TashAnique Was a student at St Catherine high school for seven years where she met JBree and since then began their journey to be a success story in today\u2019s music world. The third formers spent most of their free time writing music and singing while other students used the desk to make the beats that they would sing to. The ladies have shown great improvements over the years resulting from long practices and family encouragement. Tash spends her early stages writing the hooks for her older brother Glenroy while JBree was being boosted to demonstrate that wonderful tone at family functions or as she stated \u201cany given chance at singing my siblings I and would be asked to sing.\u201d With influences from R&B, Reggae, hip hop, and rap just to name a few, the duo developed a great chemistry even when JBree was mainly just a writer with her best friend or in her term her \u201cblood sister.\u201d Gd\u2019s home studio saw his fifteen year old sister Tash recorded songs like; intoxicated, Trust issue, and M.I.A which was surprisingly impressive as none saw that potential before these recordings. This became the point where intensity was put on the encouragement to the teenager, as family and friends were very impressed with her ability and was confident that she can be a success at making music. 2013 was the year the R&B and Reggae influences along with the support for Tash brought JBree to the realization that a duo is the perfect way to take advantage of the great chemistry they built over the years. The two went on to record their first song as a duo \u201cTake my breath away\u201d for Portmore based record label FIREPLACE MUSIC on the labels first riddim compilation \u201cGOOD INTENTIONS RIDDIM.\u201d We saw the talent move forward to a single of encouragement, \u201cHOPE.\u201d Especially with Fireplace music becoming the home of the TashAnique and JBree, we look forward to well formulated music with feeling from the heart of two personalities that has no comparison to any artist the Jamaican culture has ever seen. Dancehall, Reggae, Rap, hip hop, R&B, or even pop music potential makes it hard to predict the next song from this fierce duo. TashAnique and JBree came to win and judging from the early stages, they are in a comfortable position to strike gold.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
