Leeson’s Legacy, LLC is non-profit foundation inspired Leeson’s (Rick) life work. The foundation intends to fund several organizations and initiatives that Rick was a part of or would have been a part of, in the US and abroad. Everything from scholarships to basketball camps. LEESON LEGACY DAY is our first public event, a fundraiser to be held annually, whose proceeds will go to his children’s college fund, Sligo Adventist basketball team (he coached and mentored them for over a year) and a family who has lost a parent to homicide and is trying to rebuild. There will be several activities to entertain children, all of which are free. Food and drinks are at a charge. We will also host several dominoes, ludie and card tournaments throughout the day. Several vendors will be onsite selling their goods. The foundation will provide a health vendor, manned by RN’s, that will have a plethora of health related information, fact sheets and giveaways. They will also provide various health screenings onsite, for free. In line with this year’s theme: Go Hard for Community Building, we will conduct a panel discussion that focuses on how we can continue to make strides towards building a stronger community. We are very excited about this event and welcome everyone to come through with POSITIVE VIBES to support a POSITIVE CAUSE!! Leeson Richardo “Rick” Samuels, the legacy will live on!!!
